It was a full house in the village hall last week as we gathered for a fun-filled games night with a choco-lot of prizes! Our famed Chocolate Bingo returned for another year, bringing together old and new pupils alike. We were delighted to see so many faces full of joy and anticipation for this egg-cellent event.
Once all the seats were filled, our wonderful Miss Jennings took to the stage as our host. Acting as bingo caller, she tirelessly took us through five games of bingo each with a line and house prize up for grabs. It was an exciting and lively game as we raced to find all the winning digits before the rest. The numbers came thick and fast, as did the bingo lingo! Huge thanks to Miss Jennings for keeping us all on the edge of our seats.
There were lots of big wins for little winners, claiming bundles of treats on each round. Lots of egg sharing amongst friends too – just showing how kind spirited our little ones can be. Thanks to our generous community for all the prizes donated to our bingo bonanza.
We worked up an appetite with all the excitement and celebration, stopping for a well-earned interval. Sausage baps and sandwiches were a welcome break for our hungry crew. The cakes and bakes also went down a treat – a prelude to the sweet eating to come!
After more bingo games, raffles and competition winners announced, it was time to say goodbye for another year and to celebrate our wins. A big thank you to the parents, teachers and children who had a crack at our Easter event this year. It was a win-win for all as we raised a total of £1094.85 for the school.
