Class 4 First Aid

As part of our PSHE learning we started our first aid topic this week.  We learned how to treat a number of injuries and illnesses.  We learned how to carry out a 'Primary Survey' if we were to find someone who was poorly or had sustained an injury.  We know the importance of DR ABC!  Ask us about it and we will teach you how important it is.  Finally, we worked in pairs to practice putting a casualty into the recovery position.  This is a position that can help people remain safe until further help arrives.
