Yesterday we conducted some fieldwork which relates to our Geography topic. Children created a tally to show the volume of traffic coming into Elford as well as the types of transport. We then used this data to create a bar graph. 

Beautiful hand-made cards for our French pen friends, based on this term’s ‘Ordering at a café’ topic.  Very proud of the enthusiasm, effort and creativity put in by Class 3.

Yesterday we looked at different ingredients which the Anglo Saxons would have used and we made our own honey shortbread.

We had an amazing time at Tamworth Castle where we were able to bring our History topic to life. We learned more about life in Saxon times and that the capital of the Saxon kingdom of Mercia was right here in Tamworth,
