Operation Jingle Bells

 

Dear Parents, 

We hope you are all well.  We would like to invite you to join us and take part in our Community Christmas project, which we are calling ‘Operation Jingle Bells’.  As part of this project, we are politely asking you to fill a decorated shoebox with gifts for a resident at the local nursing home, Stubby Leas.  Examples of what could be included are: 

• Fluffy socks, 

• Santa hat

• Teddy, 

• Shortbread  biscuit 

• Gloves 

• Christmas card or letter.  

• Jigsaw puzzle

• Puzzle book.  

We hope you will join us in helping spread a little Christmas cheer throughout our local area.  We ask for the shoeboxes to be brought into school by Friday 10th December.  We are planning a whole school visit to the garden of the nursing home on 13th December to sing Christmas songs for the residents from their gazebo and take your shoeboxes. More details on this will follow.
