10 December 2021
Dear Staff, children, families and our partners in education,
As we race up to the end of term before the Christmas break up, I wanted to write to you all so that my message didn't get lost in the flurry of the end of term cards and messages.
I extend a huge thank you for a wonderful term under such challenging circumstances for all. I am grateful for the welcome, support and tremendous dedication of all of our staff and directors across the Trust. So much hard work has gone into teaching and learning, school and Trust development and I am thankful for everyone's passion and drive.
Parents and carers, I am grateful to you for your support and positivity for our schools, for your understanding around decisions and approaches to communication with our staff, everyone has worked so well together for the best of our children, thank you.
Partners in the education of our children, we thank you for your support, generosity of spirit and hard work this term.
Children, thank you! Thank you for your smiles, engagement, kindness, friendship, love and respect for all, for your learning attitudes and behaviours in school, you are all awesome. Well done for your achievements this term.
I am so pleased to have seen such excellent teaching and learning and vibrant opportunities for our children, to have seen such beautiful, dynamic schools for us all to work and learn in and I have thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas festivities across the Trust.
I do hope that each and every one of you manages to have some stillness and peace this Christmas after a prolonged period of uncertainty. Additionally, family sits at the heart of all we do at TSSMAT and I hope that you all manage to carve out quality time with family, loved ones and enjoy the festivities. I recognise that this isn't an easy or happy time for us all and I hope that you feel able to reach out to our leaders should you need any support.
Finally! Ralph and I have drawn a little Christmas picture of him for our children - we hope they like it. He has had a lovely term too and has enjoyed his walks and baths! Thank you.
Isaiah: 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and a healthy, happy and simply splendid 2022!
Kind Regards,
Mrs. Charlene Gethin
