Ready Steady Cook !

We were lucky enough to have been involved in a fantastic event this week to help promote cooking and healthy eating.  The school food showdown, funded by Tamworth County Council, is based on the Ready Steady Cook format.   Children were chosen at random to represent the red or green team. Recipe cards and ingredients were provided and each team had to produce a plate of food in just 15 minutes.  As you can see from the photographs an amazing time was had by all, especially Ivy and Alice from the red team who received the most votes at the end of the tasting.  Jake and Jack also created a lovely dish for the green team.
