A double celebration to remember! We began our day with a thought provoking assembly lead by Mr Challinor, who helped us reflect on the historical significance of VE Day. We then spent the morning engaging in activities to celebrate VE Day.
The afternoon was spent learning about David Attenborough through watching videos and reading books, then completing activities linked to one of the continents he has visited over the years.
Of course, no celebration is complete without a special treat! Our lovely cook baked the whole school delicious cake to enjoy together! What a wonderful day!
