Census day is important for school funding because it is the day when schools collect crucial data about their student population, which is then used by the government to calculate and allocate funding based on factors like student numbers, demographics, and special needs, ensuring each school receives the appropriate level of financial support to meet their unique requirements.

The next Census day is Thursday 4th June. The dinner menu has been changed to encourage as many children across the school years especially those who have a Universal infant free school meal ( Year groups R,1,2 ) and children in receipt of free school meals.
