Return to school - Class 1

Reception and Year 1 have had another fantastic day in class. We have been practicing our Phase 3 & 5 diagraphs in phonics and have been perfecting our letter formation. In English we have basesd our writing on the story of 'The Gruffalo' by Julia Donaldson. Today we looked at all the words used in the story to describe the Gruffalo, we then wrote our own descriptions. We have even learnt a Gruffalo song! Reception have also done some fantastic addition in maths today, adding more and writing a number sentence to match.
