Class 3 Graffiti Art

Class 3 have been looking at the work of graffiti artists, in particular Banksy.  They have been looking at a range of skills that are needed to create a final piece of work.  As you can see from the display they have created their own pictures of the Mona Lisa.   The children had to create a stencil using art knives and cutting boards for the intricate parts around the eyes.  They then had to consider colour, with some children choosing up to 3 contrasting colours that they felt would have the best effect.  We spray painted the final pieces and I hope you agree that the end results were pretty spectacular !!
