Cookery Club Week 3
Another fantastic week in cookery club! This week we made flapjacks. We each got to add our own toppings, there were some very fantastic creations. Our older club members are such fantastic role models and every week aid the younger children in learning new skills! What a fab group!
Comparative testing in Science
This week I’m science, we investigated conditions needed for plant growth. We then removed one condition from each plant to see what will happen. We will keep you posted with the results.

Cookery Club Week 2
We’ve had another fab week in cookery club this week. We used our skills of measuring, mixing, and prepping fruit to make banana, chocolate and oat cookies. Hope you all enjoyed them
Which materials float and which materials sink?
Reception have continued their science learning studying the oceans. Today they have thought about which objects might float and which objects might sink. They talked about the materials the objects were made of and made predictions before testing them out. Super science work…

Years 1 & 2 have been investigating the question “Which materials are absorbent?” They learnt how to conduct a fair test, interpret results and make a conclusion. Super science work everyone!
Spelling Bee Heat Winners
Congratulations to our Spelling Bee heat winners, their certificates will be presented in the upcoming achievement assembly. They will be attending the Spelling Bee finals at Richard Crosse next week - sending them lots of luck. Here’s hoping we keep the trophy

Year 3/4 Tennis Festival

Pizza making in cookery club
What a fantastic first session at cookery club. The children really enjoyed making their dough base from scratch and then prepping their toppings. The children were fantastic - we hope the pizzas were tasty!
Creative break times
Thanks to our lovely librarians we now have book boxes to take outside. Today the children enjoyed art, books and Lego at break time - there were some fantastic creations.
