Observing changes across the seasons

Key stage 1 have enjoyed the start of their new science topic, Seasonal changes. In the first lesson they explored Autumn and the reason behind some trees loosing their leaves and the secret colours hiding within leaves. The second lesson focussed on Winter. Within this lesson the children explored the features of the season and how snow is made. They then applied their knowledge to describe winter, make crystals and even make snow! So much practical science fun!
