The fencing was thoroughly enjoyed tonight. We practised skills and duelled with the swords and helmets. A great way to spend the afternoon.
Plant dissection in the outdoor classroom
We had a fantastic start to our new science topic this week.

Today we delivered our geography surveys to the local area. We are hoping to collect some data about amenities in the village. We enjoyed our walk and spoke to lots of residents about what they may like.

We are Stickman ready!
Our last two science lessons of this half term are all about ‘Stickman’. The children have made their own stick people and dressed them in some wonderful outfits.

Exploring numbers to 20 and beyond

Key stage one have continued their science unit looking at materials and their properties. Today they recreated a page from the well known book, “That’s not my rocket…” Using their materials knowledge they searched for just the right object to match the property they chose.

Geographical enquiries in our local area
Class 2 turned into geographers this morning and had a fantastic morning completing transport surveys in our local area.
We created an enquiry question, collected our date and then presented our data back in the classroom.
