What a fabulous day we have had! Thank you to our fabulous PTA for organising a fantastic Christmas craft day for us all. As always, class 1 approached the day with their infectious enthusiasm and brilliant behaviour. Well done!

Black Country Museum

Fantastic Story mapping
Our Year 1 and 2 children did a fabulous job at retelling the story of Pinocchio. They used lots of exciting vocabulary when retelling the story. Well done everyone!
Wedgwood Pottery
Our completed Wedgwood pots! Don’t they look fabulous! We painted them using the Wedgwood colours. Great work KS1.
Investigating Friction
In science today we used newton metres to investigate how much force was needed to pull cars along different surfaces. We then used our findings to design roads based on John McAdam’s research.
Diwali Festivals of Light
Today we created a picture story book to match the story of Rama and Sita. Each of us took a key part of the story to recreate. We enjoyed learning about how the story linked to Diwali the festival of light.
Toys from the past
Class 1 had a great time today looking at toys from the past as part of their History topic. They were able to explain similarities and differences between toys then and now and really impressed our special guest from the History Association.
Class 3 Arboretum Visit
On Wednesday 22nd November, Class 3 visited the National Memorial Arboretum in support of our History topic on World War 2. It was cold but sunny when we arrived and were met by Mrs Howard, our expert guide. We had a wonderful morning learning about the significance of many of the memorials…
Exploring equal groups
Year 3 have started their next White Rose Maths unit focusing on Multiplication. To begin this unit, year 3 have looked at equal groups. Great work year 3.
Animating fun
Class 2 have had lots of fun exploring ‘Stop Motion Animator’ on the Chromebooks. They spent time evaluating what worked and what didn’t before making a final animation. Great work everyone!
