Class 1 label Mrs Powles

We had so much fun this afternoon in Class 1! This week we have been learning all about the body, in particular the skeleton. We have listened to stories and written about the characters from the Allan Alhberg,  ‘Funny bones’ story books, our favourite being ‘Bumps in the night’. The children have loved listening to stories involving Big skeleton, Little skeleton and Dog skeleton. As part of our afternoon activities this week, the children were challenged to read and label Mrs Powles. They had so much fun sellotaping the labels to Mrs Powles. After labelling their teacher they decided it would be fun to label each other. They were brilliant at labelling the body parts that they could see and even some of the organs that we cannot see, such as the heart and brain. Great work Class 1!
