Colouring mixing

Fabulous Phonics!
Reception have had an amazing year mastering the basics of phonics. They are all such superstars and managed to move words around the make sentences that they could read! Well done everyone!
Amazing animal experience!
What a fabulous animal experience we had! We learnt about different animals, their features, their habitats and what they eat, all whilst holding these fabulous animals!

Computer skills and publishing stars!
Year 1 have worked hard mastering logging on to the chrome books and opening google documents. They have then used their growing typing skills to publish their wonderful Tinga Tales. Great learning and fun!
What effects does gravity have on objects?
Key stage 1 had lots of fun completing an investigation all about gravity. They learnt what gravity was, who discovered it and then conducted investigations testing the effects of gravity on objects. So much fun and lots of learning!
Budding architects
Class 2 have started their final art topic of the year - architecture. They have made mood boards combining their go rowing computing skills with their art skills and today they have used their mathematical knowledge of 3D shapes to help them draw 3D building outlines.

Recycling seaside sculptures
Class 2 have had great fun creating sea creatures from recycled materials. They applied their learning to create their final sculptures after planning them very carefully. Well done class 2!
