We ended our Geography topic with a bang by creating our own exploding volcano!

Canal and River Trust Assembly
Today we enjoyed our assembly ran by the Canal and River Trust.
We discovered how to be safe in and around water and identified how we could help in an emergency.

Video call with Awoignt
In French today we had a video call with our pen pals from Awoignt. We introduced ourselves, gave our name and the village we lived in all in French. Fantastic work class 2!

Christmas Craft Day

Investigating Friction
In science today we used newton metres to investigate how much force was needed to pull cars along different surfaces. We then used our findings to design roads based on John McAdam’s research.
Diwali Festivals of Light
Today we created a picture story book to match the story of Rama and Sita. Each of us took a key part of the story to recreate. We enjoyed learning about how the story linked to Diwali the festival of light.
