Practical Science in Class 2
We had a fantastic science lesson this week. We investigated how fluid in our bodies helps to protect our organs by placing eggs in glass jars with and without water and giving them a good shake. Why don’t you ask us what we discovered.

Today we had a visit from our local PCSO’s. They talked to us about their role, their uniform and their vehicles. We asked lots of questions and discovered how they work to help us in our local area.

Dogs Trust Assembly

Reading at the village hall with Dementia Caring Charity
We had a fantastic session at the village hall with Dementia Caring charity. We shared some of our favourite poems and spent time with the people who attend sharing what we’ve been up to at school.
Wake Up Shake Up
We’ve had our first wake up shake up work out at lunch today. The children chose the song and created the routine. We enjoyed warming up our bodies and having lots of fun.
Mass and measures in maths

Stoke City Play Leaders
Today has been the final week of the play leaders course. Children in year 4/5 have been learning how to coach and mentor others and carried out their own games for other groups applying their skills. We can’t wait to see their games in action at break and lunch times.
