How can we classify and group animals?

Year 1 and 2 had great fun classifying animals. They brought in a stuffed animal from home and began by thinking about the animals characteristics of their animal. They then learnt about the different groups that animals belong to and sorted them into groups. Year 2 had an extra challenge to sort their animals with an overlapping vein diagram. It was quite tricky but of course they were fabulous! Such great fun!
